The closure of the mill where Tonya Moore operated her restaurant, The Front Porch, forced her to move her business – but not far.
Moore plans to open her café this month at 1740 Highmarket Street in Georgetown following a final inspection, she told What Now Charleston. Customers can still see the mill through the windows of the new space, the Post and Courier reported, which is about 3,720 square feet.
The Front Porch serves both breakfast and lunch, with a variety of menu items including Southern comfort food, sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps, according to the Post and Courier.
