The James to Open July 17 Bringing Traditional American Fare to James Island

The James, is set to debut on July 17, 2023, Post and Courier is reporting. Located at 1939-A Maybank Highway, the restaurant occupies the space previously held by Zia Taqueria, and promises to become a cherished gathering place for the community.

The James is the brainchild of the esteemed owners of parent company The Neighborhood Dining Group which operates Husk, Delaney Oyster House, and Minero.

“Coming soon to the neighborhood…,” The James teased on its Instagram page Monday alongside the above image of its logo. The social media page describes the eatery as “a lively, casual, family-friendly American grill on James Island.”

According to the restaurant’s website, The James aims to provide an inviting and family-friendly atmosphere where patrons can enjoy traditional American fare in the heart of James Island. The establishment will offer a wide range of familiar dishes, ensuring that there is something for everyone’s palate.
