Woodhaven Pizza, BENE Hospitality Group’s New York-inspired pizzeria, is planning to open a second location in the One Nexton development, according to a report by the Post and Courier.
The concept for Woodhaven takes after its namesake, inspired by the pizza scene surrounding the Woodhaven subway stop in Queens, New York. The menu features salad, antipasti, New York-style pies, Sicilian pies, Woodhaven artisanal pies, heroes, pastas and Italian desserts.
Woodhaven plans to open its Mt. Pleasant location on Feb. 8 at the Indigo Square shopping center.
The BENE group, helmed by Ty and Karen Mennuti-Raju, also owns SAVI Cucina + Wine Bar and Sommba Gastrobar, two concepts which have seen great success in Mt. Pleasant.
