Dunkin’ Joining Shopping Center in Greensboro

Dunkin’ is growing its presence in the Triad.

Charleston-based franchisee Coastal Franchising LLC has a new Dunkin’ location in the works in Greensboro. It is slated to open in a 2,400-square-foot space with a drive-thru at 5698 W Gate City Blvd by the end of the summer, according to the Triad Business Journal.

It will be joining the Shoppes at Sedgefield Crossing, which is currently being leased.

Helmed by CEO George Ross, Coastal Franchising LLC is one of the largest Dunkin’ franchisees, according to the company’s website. It operates more than 140 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Southern Virginia.

Coastal Franchising LLC has a strong presence in the Charlotte area, as well as multiple locations in the Winston-Salem region. It also operates Dunkin’ locations in the Raleigh-Durham area.

Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ now has more than 13,000 locations around the world. It serves coffee, doughnuts, muffins, bagels, sandwiches, wraps and other baked goods.
