Burger chain Jaggers is preparing to open a new location in Winston-Salem, according to recent reporting from the Triad Business Journal. The upcoming restaurant is expected to take over the former Twin Peaks space at 1915 Hampton Inn Court near Hanes Mall Boulevard, with plans pointing to a later 2026 opening.
Operated by Texas Roadhouse, Jaggers launched in 2014 with a menu centered around burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, fries, and hand-spun milkshakes. According to the company’s website, the concept focuses on made-to-order food prepared with fresh ingredients, including hand-breaded chicken tenders, fresh-cut vegetables, and house-made sauces.
Jaggers is also known for its milkshake lineup, featuring flavors like Oreo Cookies’ N Cream, Peanut Butter Pie, Banana Split, and Ghirardelli Brownie.
The concept was launched by late Texas Roadhouse founder Kent Taylor as a smaller-format restaurant centered on burgers, chicken sandwiches, and shakes, according to information shared on the company’s website.
The Winston-Salem restaurant adds to the company’s growing presence in North Carolina, joining existing locations in Fayetteville, Greenville, and Jacksonville. Additional sites are also planned for Concord and Raleigh, according to previous WhatNow Charlotte reporting.
Texas Roadhouse leadership recently shared plans to continue expanding the Jaggers brand alongside its Texas Roadhouse and Bubba’s 33 concepts, with several additional openings expected throughout 2026.
