La Michoacana Taqueria y Tortilleria is planning a second location, according to an announcement on the brand’s Facebook page earlier this week.

“Something exciting is brewing…and it’s refreshing and bold!” the announcement reads. “We’re thrilled to announce our second location is coming soon — same legendary quality, brand-new look and dishes you’ll be excited to taste.”

While La Michoacana did not announce the address on social media yet, the Charlotte Observer unearthed that it will be taking over the former Pacheco’s Tortilleria & Grill space at 168 Norman Station Blvd Z in Mooresville. Pacheco’s closed suddenly earlier this summer.

The menu features a variety of tacos, as well as other dishes like tortas, pupusas, burritos and fajitas. They focus on using fresh ingredients and tortillas that are handmade daily.

Gabriel and Hilda Manjarrez are behind the spot, which currently has one location open along Nevin Road in Charlotte.
