A new X-Golf location is entering Charlotte as part of the golf entertainment wave sweeping across the country. It is slated to join West Charlotte at 2135 Thrift Road #105-C. This will be the second location for the brand, joining one that opened in June 2021 in South Charlotte.

Dale Hammond is the local owner behind the forthcoming location for the golf entertainment franchise.

X-Golf is known for its state-of-the-art indoor golf simulators, which are designed to be both accurate and realistic. The simulators use technology such as camera systems, infrared lasers, impact sensors and gaming software to bring a sense of realism to the golf experience. The brand describes itself as “the world’s most accurate golf simulator” on its website.

X-Golf locations also feature a full restaurant and bar, serving beer, wine, cocktails, shareable plates like nachos and wings, flatbreads, salads and tacos.

Customers can purchase memberships or pay for simulators by the hour. Golf lessons are also available.

The brand got its start in 2005 in Australia. It made the jump to the U.S. in 2010 and now has more than 130 locations across the country.

As of now, an opening timeline remains unclear for the West Charlotte location. It is listed as “coming soon” on both the website and social media.

This is not the only golf entertainment concept making its mark in Charlotte. Golf concept 3’s is expected to open in the market this year. What Now Charlotte also previously reported that 8AM Golf concept T-Squared Social was eyeing the Charlotte market.
