Paco’s Tacos & Tequila, a local Mexican restaurant concept from FS Food Group, is getting ready to open a new location in Fort Mill at 1328 Broadcloth St., Suite 102.

The company’s second location is set to move into the current home of Taco Molino, which recently wrapped up its five-year run after dinner service on December 31, according to Charlotte Business Journal. The new Paco’s Tacos & Tequila will sit in a 400-square-foot space with a 950-plus-square-foot enclosed patio. Owner Frank Scibelli estimates the project will cost $1.2 million and is expected to open by early March 2025.

Chef Bob Kalish will oversee the kitchen at Paco’s, which will offer a variety of wood-fired grilled fajitas, tacos plates, cheese enchiladas, and more. This is a massive achievement for FS Food Group, which is behind Mama Ricotta’s, Yafo Kitchen, and Midwood Smokehouse. Scibelli opened Little Mama’s locations in south Charlotte and Calle Sol Latin Café and Cevicheria in South Park last year. For the new Fort Mill Paco’s, the company has enlisted Peadon Finein Architecture as the architect, and Samantha Fugate will serve as the general manager.

“From the wood-fired grilled fajitas to the cheese enchiladas with chili con carne, Paco’s menu showcases the freshest quality ingredients,” according to the company’s website. “The deliciousness is in our details. Each dish was crafted under the expert guidance of James Beard award-winning Tex-Mex culinary expert and cookbook author, Rob Walsh. Central to the flavor-packed dining experience is the bar, with over 230 tequila varieties, several outstanding wines, and a selection of beers from Texas, Mexico, and North Carolina.”
