ESO Artisanal Pasta is planning a spring opening at Optimist Hall. Owners AJ Sankofa and Kristina Gambarian are aiming for a March opening, according to the ESO Artisanal Pasta website.

The team formerly was hoping to open the spot in September of last year, Gambarian shared in a previous interview with What Now Charlotte.

“Optimist Hall is an exciting opportunity for us and felt like the perfect place to bring ESO Artisanal Pasta to the next level,” Sanfoka said in a past release. “We’re looking forward to creating some of the most authentic pasta in the city by using fresh ingredients and familiar flavors with interesting twists.”

The concept originated in Morristown, New Jersey. Though the team closed their storefront there, they have been working as private chefs for events such as weddings, corporate events and pasta classes.

Optimist Hall has a variety of food and beverage tenants including Marina’s Tapas, The Dumpling Lady and Undercurrent Coffee.
