The Hyde Park restaurant brings approximately 65 jobs to the community and joins more than 50 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the Chicago market.
To celebrate the opening, Guests are welcome to join the fun by dressing in cow print on opening day to receive a free entrée.
Locally Owned and Operated
“Chicago was the first place I ever called home, and I lived in Hyde Park during some of my core development years. Coming back to bring Chick-fil-A to an area where I still have a strong community means everything to me,” said Golden in a statement. “When I first experienced Chick-fil-A, I loved the food, but it was the service that truly left a mark – I look forward to bringing that welcoming environment to Hyde Park every day.”

- Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée* in person inside the restaurant.
Caring for the Hyde Park Community
Golden is committed to giving back to the Hyde Park community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts at The Greater Chicago Food Depository, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local nonprofits. When there is surplus food, Chick-fil-A Hyde Park will donate it to Pacific Garden Mission. This program has helped create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
