According to a recent article from Chicago Yimby, a permit has been filed for Chez Adele at 3311 W Bryn Mawr Avenue in North Park, confirmed by its owner Bart Kabore Sidzanbnoma.
“I am very excited to bring another restaurant to Bryn Mawr and in the neighborhood. We are still brainstorming about the current restaurant concept but for right now we are considering smash burgers, Polish, hotdogs, Italian Beef, and/or “African cuisine”. The name, for now, will be “Chez Adele,” named after my mother who is an amazing cook,” Bart told What Now Chicago.
“Our building permits were just approved by the city, and the renovation was my idea. My family and I live in the neighborhood. Our goal is to be able to give the ability for customers to grab a quick, delicious bite as well as try out new food options, such as African food.”
Chicago Yimby’s article states that the owner of the restaurant space is Bart Kabore Sidzanbnoma. The location will embark on a journey of modernization, elevating its interior space and enhancing the functionality of its kitchen. The comprehensive renovations, detailed in the permit filing, encompass a sweeping 1,173-square-foot overhaul, with the architect behind it being Marco A. Gutierrez.
The project will consist of a wide array of changes, such as new interior finishes, a relocated kitchen exhaust hood, upgraded cooking equipment, countertop upgrades, and revamped lighting, to name a few.
