An Ottawa-based pizzeria with Napoletana-style pies has a new location on the horizon.

Iniga Pizzeria has listed a new restaurant on their website, coming to 206 E Lincoln Highway in DeKalb. This will be right in the city’s downtown area. The opening date is to be determined, but work is being done inside the space.

The original Iniga Pizzeria location is at 215 W Jefferson Street in Ottawa. It offers the thin, round pizzas that lovers of Napoletana pizza come to expect, along with salads, appetizers and desserts. The menu for the DeKalb location is expected to be very similar.

The Northern Star reported in April the DeKalb City Council approved the restaurant for a liquor license ahead of its grand opening. For the Ottawa location, it is expected to be closing by the end of this week. With the full move to DeKalb taking place soon.

In another Facebook post from July, photos of the new space under construction were shared. The bar top was being installed in one of the photos, and it is meant to keep the Italian look from the Ottawa location. When What Now Chicago reached out to owner Tim Cottingim on progress inside the space, he was not available for comment.

Next to the new restaurant is Class VI wine bar, and it is right at the corner of Lincoln Highway and S 2nd Street. More information on the opening will be released in the coming weeks.
