A new sushi option is soon to open off of Route 59.

The owners of Yaba Sushi have announced their new restaurant is opening soon at 2835 Showplace Drive, Suite 103. This will be going in the Naperville Crossings area. The owners are looking to open the space around Sept. 15.

Co-owner Li Li told What Now Chicago he has over 20 years of experience in sushi restaurants. There is not a menu released as of yet, but it is expected to have a variety of sushi flavors, along with other Asian cuisine. This will be the newest Asian seafood option along Route 59, with the closest being Hoshi Sushi, Gumii and Wild Tuna Sushi + Grill.

The new restaurant has been kept relatively under wraps, with only a recent announcement on Aug. 11. It was first registered as a business in the Illinois Business Entity Search page on May 22.

Other establishments in the building attached to the address in the Naperville Crossings area include MOD Pizza, Bar Louie and A La Folie Pastries. This is also near the AMC Naperville 16 Theater. The southwest corner of Naperville off of Route 59 has many restaurants and grocery stores to choose from.

What Now Chicago has followed up with the owners for comment on the opening, and this article may be updated.
