An all day restaurant and live music concept will join the developing neighborhood.

A liquor license application was recently submitted for Pitch & Pour Supper Club, coming to 1239 W Lake Street. This replaces InSession Soundbite Lounge which is now listed as closed. Managing partner Brennan Nichols told What Now Chicago he and the team are hoping to open the new concept sometime in May.

Nichols, a Chicago local, is creating a new destination for elevated comfort food and live music, accompanied by wines and cocktails. The concept will be open to the public, serving breakfast, brunch, drinks during happy hour and late at night during concerts.

“We’re building an all-day supper club designed around how Chicago actually moves—from breakfast meetings to late-night energy, all within one space,” Nichols said.

Tribe Supper Club had been at the building on West Lake Street for around three years, offering live music of all kinds to the West Loop area. It was later taken over by In Session Soundbite Lounge until its closure. Now, Nichols is taking over the space to create an immersive supper club.

Breakfast menu items at Pitch & Pour will include breakfast sandwiches and wraps, croissant french toast and chicken & waffles. Shrimp-based dishes, chargrilled oysters, and a signature Wagyu burger will also be signature options. The cocktail and wine lists are being released closer to the opening.

The new supper club will be on the west side of Fulton Market District, next to Macello Italian restaurant. Thai is at the corner of N Elizabeth Street, also close to concepts such as Trabjo and Cafe Tola Foods. The CTA Green and Pink lines pass right above the building.

Nichols and the team are not announcing a firm opening date just yet as inspections are ongoing, but more information on the concept can be found on their Instagram @pitchandpourchicago.
