A popular Midwest coffee brand is bringing a new location to a Downers Grove gas station.
Scooter’s Coffee will be opening a new shop at 2125 Ogden Avenue later this fall. According to franchisee Tom Diamantopoulos, there will also be cafe seating the space. The estimated opening date right now is the third week of October.
Scooter’s has multiple locations in Chicagoland including Oswego, Wheeling and Bolingbrook. It is based in Omaha, Nebraska, with over 850 shops across the U.S. Their menu features hot and iced coffees, teas, Red Bull-infused drinks, pastries and sandwiches.
The newest shop is at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Belmont Road, the same location as the Powermart gas station. Behind Powermart is Slushy Doggs Powmaro’s, and also close by is Cedar Grill. The coffee shop is already listed on Google.
Right now, the new Scooter’s is hiring for positions such as barista, store supervisor and manager. More information on the opening date will be released in the coming weeks.
