Ballyhoo Hospitality is not done expanding DeNucci’s as a third location is coming to Hinsdale.
From recent social media conversations, locals have been wondering about a new pizza spot coming to the village. It was recently confirmed on their website, with the address being 8 E 1st Street in the downtown area. There is no official opening date yet, but the company is looking at a November or December opening.
What Now Chicago previously reported on DeNucci’s opening in both Logan Square at 503 W Dickens Avenue and Highland Park at 1850 2nd Street. The restaurant is known for thin, tavern-style pizza. Pastas, salads, and dishes like broiled chicken and peppers are also options, with lunch and dessert menus offered.
According to Amanda Mbuya who handles public relations for DeNucci’s, the company is “still very much in the programming phase.” Right now, the restaurant is listed on the website as “coming soon.” Like the other two locations, it is being opened by Ryan and Anna O’Donnell from Ballyhoo Hospitality
“DeNucci’s brings the bold flavors of Italian-American cooking to the neighborhood with the modern, approachable style Ballyhoo is known for,” says the description on their website.
Ballyhoo Hospitality owns and manages restaurants including Coda di Volpe, Old Pueblo Cantina, Sophia Steak, Jackman & Co and Buck Russell’s. More information can be found at denuccisitalian.com/hinsdale/.
