Bojangles, the beloved Southern fast-food chain renowned for its Cajun-seasoned fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits, is set to open its third Central Ohio location this summer at 39 Coughlin Lane in Delaware. This new restaurant follows successful openings in Hilliard and Heath, marking a significant step in the brand’s expansion into the Columbus metropolitan area.
While the exact opening date has not been officially confirmed, local sources suggest a tentative launch around July 22, 2025. An employee at another Bojangles location reportedly confirmed a July opening for the Delaware store.
The Delaware restaurant is part of an ambitious growth plan led by franchisee Jeff Rigsby, who aims to open approximately 15 Bojangles locations across the Columbus metro area over the next seven years.
Bojangles’ expansion into Central Ohio brings its signature offerings—including Cajun-seasoned fried chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits, and popular sides like Bo-Tato Rounds®, Dirty Rice®, and coleslaw—to a new audience. The Delaware location will provide residents with convenient access to the brand’s beloved breakfast items, individual meals, family boxes, and catering options.
As Bojangles continues to grow its presence in the Columbus area, local residents can look forward to experiencing the flavors that have made the chain a Southern staple.
