The breakfast, brunch and lunch chain First Watch has filed a permit for some work to take place at the eatery located at 3800 Fishinger Blvd, in Hilliard. According to details in the permit filing, there will be no interior work completed, but a new patio and canopy will be added alongside of the existing building. Further details in the permit filing explain that a brick knee wall and cable railing will surround the new patio.

Additional information such as how many seats will be added on the patio, the cost for the project or a timeline for completion were not listed in the permit and are not available at this time.

First Watch offers breakfast, brunch and lunch, with selections that include classic breakfast dishes like waffles, eggs benedict, pancakes and omelets, in addition to healthier fare such as avocado toast, oatmeal and breakfast bowls made with quinoa, eggs and other proteins. There are also salads and sandwiches available for lunch, as well as a variety of beverages.

Coffee choices range from traditional drip coffee to cold brew and flavored iced coffees, as well as fresh juices, teas and a number of soft drinks.
