According to recent reporting, a new sandwich shop and market is on its way to Center Street Market, located at 5354 Center St, in Hilliard. Norwich Grocery is set to take over the space previously occupied by Al’s Delicious Popcorn and Two Step Tacos. Although the menu and the grocery inventory is still under development, according to co-owner John Ciardelli, Norwich Grocery will offer a selection of sandwiches and soups as well as sell locally made products, such as local honey, charcuterie items and Al’s Delicious Popcorn.
Ciardelli tells What Now Columbus that guests can expect two soups available, one that’s a staple, which will be a lobster bisque as well as a rotating soup. Some of the sandwiches offered will include muffaletta, reuben, wraps and more.
Other vendors at Center Street Market include Crooked Can Brewing Co., The Cheesecake Girl and the smashburger food truck concept turned market vendor Hot Mess, which is also co-owned by John Ciardelli.
Ciardelli says currently, the team is shooting for a mid-November opening.
