A Popular Donut Chain Location May Soon See Some Upgrades

The Dunkin’ Donuts located on Dublin Granville Road has filed a permit for exterior remodeling work.

A recent permit filing shows that the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 2255 E Dublin Granville Rd may see some renovations. Per language in the filing documents, the permit is for remodeling work on an existing Dunkin’ Donuts, with minor upgrades to its exterior components. No further details on the scope of the work were provided in the permit filing, but details in the documents do show that the projected cost of the work associated with the upgrades is $35,000. 

What Now Columbus contacted the franchisee to find out what type of renovations are in store for the Dublin Granville Road location, but the franchisee declined to share details on the matter.

The donut chain’s slogan is “America Runs on Dunkin’,” and currently there are over 9,000 locations throughout the U.S. Most locations feature a drive-thru and the menu ranges from classic glazed to cake style donuts, along with heartier breakfast options such as bagels, breakfast sandwiches, muffins and hash browns.

Dunkin’ Donuts also sells its own brand of coffee in the form of beverages at its stores that include drip, cold brew and espresso drinks, as well as bagged coffee beans and K-cup pods, which are available in Dunkin’ Donuts locations, grocery and retail stores throughout the country.
