According to a recent Columbus Monthly article, another Ampersand Asian Supper Club is opening later this year. The second location will open at 32 W College Ave, on the ground floor of a new building in Westerville. Ampersand Asian Supper Club is owned by Megan Ada, a Columbus restaurateur who operates the Westerville Sunny Street Cafe franchise, as well as Asterisk Supper Club, at 14 N State St, also in Westerville, and the original Ampersand Asian Supper Club located at 940 N High St in Short North.

The restaurant is currently slated to open some time this fall, according to information found on the Uptown Westerville Inc. website. In terms of space, Ada tells What Now Columbus that the Westerville location will be slightly smaller than the Short North eatery, but the team plans to maximize the square footage and are hoping for around 50 seats indoors with an additional four patio tables that will seat between 12 to 15 guests.

“We’re really excited to be in Westerville and serve the community our delicious ramen,” Ada said.

Ampersand Asian Supper Club is a joint venture between Ada and her husband and chef, Joshua Cook. The current lunch and dinner menu offerings consist of ramen, donburi rice bowls and small plates like crab rangoon, steamed buns and nori fries.

“The menu will be very similar, but we might condense it slightly and pick our favorites in order to work with the smaller kitchen and storage space,” Ada said of the Westerville restaurant.

The second location will likely feature four different ramens and four different rice bowls along with some small plates. Another item landing on the Westerville menu will be a full bubble tea program.
