Another Sheetz is on its way to Columbus, according to a permit filing with the city. The Pennsylvania based business is set to open a new location at 161 E Campus View Blvd, in Worthington. The permit is for construction of a new building, with the total scope of work projected to cost $3.1 million.
With locations across Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio, and more than a dozen already in the Columbus area, Sheetz is a family owned convenience store chain based in Altoona, Pennsylvania with 700 locations and more than 70 years in business.
Sheetz sells fast casual options that are made to order and the menu includes things like hot dogs, burgers, fries and chicken wings. There are also snack offerings like mac and cheese bites and mozzarella sticks, as well as breakfast items such as French toast sticks and breakfast burritos. Drink options include shakes, hot and cold coffees like lattes and cold brew, as well as smoothies and hot chocolate.
