Caribou Coffee will soon open another location in Columbus, according to recent reporting. The coffee chain will open at 1672 W Lane Ave, in Upper Arlington. Earlier this year, Wooster based Mike Mariola Restaurants announced its plans to bring 60 locations to the Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton markets over the next several years and this summer the restaurant group opened a drive-thru only location in Reynoldsburg.
Caribou Coffee operates two types of locations, a drive-thru only model, or what the coffee chain refers to as a “cabin” and a “chalet,” which is modeled after a more traditional coffee house with inside seating as well as a drive-thru. According to the recent article, the Upper Arlington location is slated to be a chalet, with seating indoors, outdoors and a drive-thru.
Caribou Coffee sells bagged coffee beans and features a drink menu that includes hot and iced espresso beverages, drip coffee, as well as non-coffee items like tea and cocoa. The food options range from bagels and pastries to sandwiches.
