This week, popular East Coast sandwich shop Wario’s Beef and Pork announced on its social media that plans are in place to open a second location soon. According to a recent Columbus Monthly article on the matter, the eatery will be located at 4219 N High St, in the space that formerly housed Pit BBQ Grille. Social media announcements aren’t new for Wario’s, since over the summer Columbus foodies learned from the eatery’s social media that it was opening a second concept called Goood Friends, located inside of Jackie O’s.
According to the social media post, the second location will feature familiar favorites, along with some menu additions exclusive to the Clintonville location.
Wario’s Beef and Pork features sandwiches like the steak, made with eight ounces of shaved ribeye, house made whiz and grilled onions, along with a rosemary and fennel cured roasted pork shoulder with broccoli rabe and picante provolone, both of which are served on a semolina seeded roll. There’s also a vegetarian sandwich, made with a house made falafel, pickled onion, cucumber, greens and tomato butter.
