According to a recently filed permit, fondue restaurant chain Melting Pot, located at 4014 Townsfair Way, near Easton Town Center, appears to be making plans to perform some interior changes. The permit filing details interior renovations to the restaurant that will include new seating, a new bar and updated restrooms. Further details in the permit show that the scope of the work is projected to cost $1 million.

With a menu that offers guests a multi-course dining experience, Melting Pot offers diners salads, cheese fondue, entrees and a chocolate fondue course for dessert. Entree offerings range from proteins like steak, salmon, chicken and pork to vegetarian choices such as assorted vegetables. The drink menu features beer, cocktails and wine, in addition to non-alcoholic selections.

What Now Columbus reached out to the Columbus Melting Pot franchisee for more information about what the renovations will entail and when the project will be complete, but a request for comment was not returned.
