According to a recently filed permit, gelato franchise I Scream Gelato will open a second Columbus location at 2010 N High St. In an email communication with What Now Columbus, franchisee Chris Myers shares that due to the shop’s proximity to OSU campus, the newest store will feature lots seating options and power outlets, so guests can stay awhile.

“We are designing this space with the student in mind. We have couches, chairs and a banquette along the wall where we will have a custom painted mural by a local artist.”

The banquette will have built-in charging areas for laptops and phones, as well as plenty of power outlets by the couches and chairs.

“We will offer espresso and flavoring for the coffee,” Myers shared. “We also will be offering Italian affogato and other great desserts with Belgian and bubble waffles.”

In addition to the forthcoming shop, Myers is also the franchisee at the Polaris Fashion Place I Scream Gelato location. Currently the anticipated timeline for opening the North High location is January or February of 2025.
