Grizzlybird Brewery has always been about more than beer. It’s about people: family, community, connection. And now, the Westerville-based brewery is adding another layer to that mission: a full kitchen.
What started in a basement has become a local favorite, thanks to the vision and heart of two couples who call Westerville home. Brian and Lisa Farley, high school sweethearts who raised their family in the community, teamed up with Walt and Christine, who found both love and a new home in Westerville. Together, they built a space that feels like family, a place where everyone is welcome, whether you’re sipping a bourbon, enjoying a craft beer, or cracking open a domestic.
Since opening the Westerville location in November 2019, Grizzlybird Brewery has grown into a beloved neighborhood gathering spot. The decision to add a full kitchen came naturally, fueled by customer feedback and a desire to offer even more hospitality under one roof.
“We’ve always wanted Grizzlybird to be a place where you can come and stay awhile,” said the team. “And now, you can grab a hot meal to go with your cold drink.”
With the addition of the kitchen, guests can expect a rotating menu of comfort food favorites, bar bites, and a few surprises that reflect the same inclusive spirit that defines the tap list. The goal? Something for everyone, just like always.
As the smells of sizzling burgers and freshly baked pretzels start to mingle with the familiar clink of pint glasses, one thing is clear, Grizzlybird Brewery isn’t just growing. It’s thriving, thanks to the people who built it and the community that continues to show up.
