According to recent reporting, The Capital Grille is on its way to the Columbus area in the former home of Champps Kitchen + Bar restaurant in Lennox Town Center at 1827 Olentangy River Rd. The upscale steakhouse chain carves each steak in house and then dry ages them for 18 to 24 days before grilling and serving them up to guests.
Currently the eatery has locations in more than 25 states, and has restaurants in major U.S. cities including Chicago, Washington, D.C., Seattle, New York City and Cincinnati. The Lennox Town Center location will be the chain’s first restaurant in Columbus.
In addition to steaks, the eatery also has a seafood selection including oysters, lobster and crab cakes, tuna and salmon. There’s also a number of desserts offered including cheesecake and creme brulee, along with cocktails and an extensive wine list.
The eatery is owned by Darden Restaurant Group, a restaurant group with a portfolio that includes Olive Garden, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Longhorn Steakhouse.
