A family is bringing a growing pizza franchise to Lebanon this year.
From their social media, Joe’s Pizza Napoli recently announced their newest location is coming to 511 N Broadway Street near the city’s downtown. This is replacing Catch-a-Fire Pizza which closed earlier this year. Company owner Joe Nunner told What Now Columbus the team is shooting for a June opening.
The franchise owner is Joe Wainscott, a local of Cincinnati and a Navy veteran. He is helping bring in the company’s second location as he has previous business experience. When contacted, Wainscott was not available for comment.
Nunner and the team have been planning the new pizza spot for the past year. Currently, their only location is at 507 Chamber Drive in Milford, which opened in 2018. Nunner recently debuted a pizza truck for the community, and now he wants to open a brick-and-mortar very similar to his current business.
“It’ll be identical,” Nunner said.
While pizzas are staples of the menu, salads, sandwiches like salami & ricotta, starters and desserts are served. A popular appetizer is the pepperoni roll with mozzarella and provolone cheese. Lebanon’s menu is also expected to be the same.
Joe’s Pizza Napoli will be on the west side of N Broadway Street, close to Mi Cozumel Mexican restaurant and Script Coffee. This area is surrounded by apartment complexes, and the main downtown area is a couple blocks away.
