John Glenn Columbus International Airport Starbucks to Undergo Renovations

According to a recent permit filing, the Starbucks located at 4600 International Gateway, inside the John Glenn Columbus International Airport, will soon undergo renovations. The permit details work to renovate and extend the queue line in order to serve customers in a faster and more efficient manner. According to the permit, the estimated cost of work for the renovation project is $70,000. 

Starbucks has locations across the U.S., with many operating out of kiosks in public spaces like grocery and retail stores, arenas and airports. The coffee giant is known for its speedy service, whimsical, limited edition holiday coffee cups and for offering a wide array of coffee beverages. 

According to the Starbucks website, there are over 40 Starbucks located throughout the Columbus area, including stand alone stores as well as kiosks found in retail stores and food courts. 

The iconic, Seattle-based coffee chain serves drip coffee, espresso drinks, teas and blended drinks known as frappuccinos, as well as breakfast and lunch options. Many stores have a drive-thru option and hours that extend beyond that of most coffee shops, opening in time for customers to grab their morning brew before work, as well as service hours that stretch into the evening.
