A cafe inside an upcoming work space is coming to the scenic state park in Ohio.

Nectar Cafe is part of the developing The Hive Hocking Hills project at 11123 Bremen Road in Logan. This will accompany the resort already owned by the company in the area. Owner Steve Saunders told What Now Columbus the team is likely 9-12 months out from opening.

From a recent post, the space will have multiple amenities including the cafe, a lounge, offices, workshop and a garage. From renditions, the space will be 2,800 square feet and has a back patio, with large glass windows and brick foundations. No menu has been released for the cafe.

The Hive at Hocking Hills is already open, and it features two luxury cabins available for rent. It debuted for booking sometime in 2024, and has become one of the options for those staying in Hocking Hills. The cafe has been in the plans for a while.

“Just five minutes from downtown Logan, you can enjoy all of the convenience of being close by while feeling so far away,” says the description on their website.

The Hive will be north of Logan and very close to multiple campgrounds in the area. This is also about 20 minutes north of Hocking Hills State Park. It will fill a market as there are not many cafes in this rural area other than in downtown Logan.
