According to recent reporting, Old Scratch Pizza plans to open its fourth location in early 2024. The newest location will be at 19 E Race St in Troy, in the former home of the Troy Fire Department. With seating for 130 indoors, along with a patio that has space for 50 guests, the new eatery will also include a party room space that will seat about 40 people.

In addition to the ample room for guests, Old Scratch Pizza owner Eric Soller tells What Now Columbus that the Troy space will have an industrial warehouse vibe, while also honoring the history of the building, through maintaining the ceramic tile walls, and by converting the garage doors to large windows.

There will also be a 22 foot long red table with seating for 28 people that will not only serve as a focal point of the eatery, but also a nod to the history of the space. Overall, the Troy space will be reminiscent of “the same concept of Neapolitan pizza combined with a beer hall” guests of Old Scratch Pizza are familiar with, according to Soller.

Guests can expect the same food and drink they can find at the eatery’s Dayton, Beavercreek and Centerville locations. Some of those menu options include typical Neapolitan pies like a margherita – available served in the traditional way with mozzarella – as well as a vegan version made with a cashew based cheese. Other pizza selections are staples like cheese and pepperoni, along with pies made with a white sauce such as chicken, bacon and ranch or prosciutto arugula options.

In addition to pizzas, there are also sandwiches, salads and shareables like hummus or roasted olives. The drink menu includes a wine selection that rotates, but guests can expect to be able to choose from two reds and two whites, along with a variety of cocktails like margarita, mules and sangaria. Additionally there are a number of rotating craft beers on tap to choose from.

Currently, the Troy location is slated to open in early January.
