According to a recently filed permit, another Panda Express may be on its way to the Columbus area. As detailed in the permit application, the restaurant will be built on the corner of Sawmill Rd and Summer Dr, located at 2750 Summer Dr, in Dublin. Language within the permit details construction of a freestanding restaurant with a drive-thru, and the estimated cost of construction of the new location is listed as $2.9 million, per the permit document.

With a handful of Panda Express locations throughout Columbus, and over 2,000 restaurants across the U.S., according to information on the company’s website, the eatery offers guests fast casual Chinese cuisine available for dine in, carryout and through drive-thru orders.

The popular restaurant chain serves options for both those following a vegetarian diet, as well as offering numerous proteins served like beef, chicken, shrimp and pork dishes. There’s also a selection of steamed and fried rice, as well as chow mein noodles.

What Now Columbus reached out to a representative with Panda Express to learn when the company hopes to break ground at the site and other details, but a request for comment was not immediately returned.
