According to a recent Dayton Daily News article, soul food restaurant Mz. Jade’s Soul Food has announced it has closed its full-service restaurant in Middletown, but another location is in the works for the Dayton region, as well as plans for a mobile food trailer. Owned by Naiyozcia “Mz. Jade” King, Mz. Jade’s Soul Food recently opened inside Dayton’s W. Social Tap & Table food hall.

On the heels of that launch, the eatery’s focus will shift to its existing Dayton location and the forthcoming spot, which will be in Sharonville. An address for the new location has not been released by the restaurant yet.

The menu focuses on hearty and comforting dishes such as wings, catfish and shrimp as well as sides like potato salad, mac and cheese and candied yams.

According to the restaurant’s website, the grand opening date for the forthcoming location hasn’t been released just yet. What Now Columbus reached out to the eatery for more information on the Sharonville store, but was unable to attain a comment at the time of this article’s publication.
