According to recent reporting, eatery Taste of Belgium is making plans to open a second Dayton area location. The new bistro will open in the former home of Bar Louie at Austin Landing at 10267 Penny Ln, in Miamisburg. Owner Jean-François Flechet tells What Now Columbus that the goal is to open the location by March, if not sooner.

Taste of Belgium is a Cincinnati based restaurant that expanded to Dayton last June at The Greene in Beavercreek. The forthcoming Miamisburg space will be larger than the Beavercreek restaurant and will seat 140 guests indoors, with a patio that has seating for 80.

Serving up breakfast, brunch and dinner, the bistro offers breakfast for dinner options that include the McWaffle, which is an egg, smoked bacon, Gruyère, maple syrup and fries, and a steak, eggs and breakfast potatoes option. There are also crepes, waffles and burgers, along with salads, seafood, pasta and shareables that include poutine and soft pretzels with beer cheese.

No meal is complete without a beverage and there are brunch focused cocktails like espresso martini and mimosas as well as non-alcoholic choices and a selection of wine, spirits and an array of European style beers that vary by location.
