As recently detailed in a Columbus Business First article, Elliot’s Wood Fired Kitchen & Tap is making plans to open at the former home of Liberty Tavern, located at 50 S Liberty, in Powell. With locations in New Albany, Newark and Pataskala, the Powell spot will make the eatery’s fourth location, and according to information in the article, Elliot’s is due to take possession of the space on Feb. 1, with renovations to follow.

According to information found on its website, the Powell location of Elliot’s Wood Fired Kitchen & Tap is slated to open this summer. The establishment is a family-owned business ran by spouses Andre and Michael Sarap and Tom Sheehan. Andre shared with What Now Columbus that the 4,000-square-foot restaurant will have seating for 150 people, and the eatery will feature outdoor seating options.

As detailed on its website, Elliot’s Wood Fired Kitchen & Tap offers its guests a menu that features wood-fired pizza, along with burgers, salads, sandwiches such as cheesesteaks and meatball subs, as well as street tacos and a number of shareables like wings, Bavarian pretzels and fried pickles. Additionally, the establishment serves beer, wine and cocktails.
