Sushi restaurant Yoshi Yum plans to open a second location at 2781 Olentangy River Rd, according to a recent permit filing. The permit details extensive interior and exterior work to the existing building, along with site improvements that include new pavement, walkways and landscaping. Given the extent of work to be performed at the location, the eatery is eyeing a Spring 2024 launch, according to a representative with Yoshi Yum.
Currently, there’s one Yoshi Yum open in the Columbus area, located at 1502 N High St, as well as two restaurants in the Greater Indianapolis area. Yoshi Yum is a subsidiary of Yo-Health, a company that aims to bring healthy foods to a number of markets, such as yogurt, juices and baked goods, along with sushi and hibachi.
The menu at Yoshi Yum includes both cooked and raw sushi like California rolls and spicy tuna, as well as poke bowls offered with a number of proteins or a vegetable poke bowl option. In addition, there are also hibachi options including chicken, beef, shrimp or a vegetarian option, with all hibachi dishes served with a choice of steamed or fried rice or noodles. The eatery also serves bubble tea, smoothies and coffee.
