MINISO is preparing to bring one of its first MINISO Land locations in the country to Columbus, with the new experiential retail concept coming soon to Easton Town Center according to 614Now.

The approximately 15,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late September or early October at Easton Town Center, according to a company press release.

MINISO Land is the retailer’s large-format concept designed to combine shopping and entertainment. The immersive store will feature themed areas centred around popular intellectual properties, including Stitch and Peanuts, along with MINISO’s own characters.

According to Easton Town Center, the new store will be located on Level 1 of the Station Building near Bath & Body Works.

Shoppers can expect MINISO’s popular blind boxes alongside collectibles, trinkets, character merchandise and other themed products. The location will also highlight the company’s growing portfolio of original intellectual property.

One of the key characters is YOYO, which MINISO launched in 2025. The character has a pumpkin-shaped head and dot eyes. Other MINISO-owned IPs include Kumaru, Angry Aimee and Carrot Street.

The company has been expanding its portfolio of proprietary characters as it grows its larger-format stores in the U.S.

Tom Bartlebaugh, CEO of MINISO USA, told Modern Retail and other publications that the company plans to open larger stores alongside major retailers such as Walmart, Target and Ulta.

The Columbus MINISO Land location will be among the retailer’s first such concepts in the country, adding a more immersive element to the brand’s presence at Easton.

An official opening date has not yet been announced. More details are expected as MINISO prepares to open the new store.

WhatNow Columbus reached out to MINISO for additional details about the new location but had not received comment at the time of publication.
