Pause Studio is preparing to bring its wellness and recovery concept to The Shops on Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington, Ohio, adding another wellness destination to the shopping center’s growing lineup of businesses.
The upcoming studio is listed as coming soon on the official Pause Studio website. The location is expected to offer a range of services designed around relaxation, recovery and personal well-being.
Pause Studio combines several wellness treatments under one roof, giving customers access to services that can be incorporated into their self-care routines. Its offerings include infrared sauna sessions, contrast therapy that alternates between heat and cold, float therapy, cryotherapy, LED light therapy and compression therapy. Select locations also offer IV drips and vitamin shots.
The brand’s approach centers on making wellness and recovery more accessible through a range of services and membership options. Customers can choose individual treatments or use credit-based memberships to access eligible services, depending on the location’s offerings.
Founded by Jeff Ono and John Klein, Pause Studio opened its first studio in Venice Beach, California, in 2016, initially focusing on float therapy. The company subsequently expanded its services to include additional recovery and wellness treatments before entering the franchise market in 2023. The brand has since continued expanding into new markets across the United States.
The Upper Arlington studio will be franchise-operated, with Sarah Boyle among the owners. The location will join The Shops on Lane Avenue, which continues to add businesses across retail, dining, fitness and wellness.
An opening date and further details about the Upper Arlington studio, including its full service menu and membership options, have not yet been announced.
