According to Pacer, the Plano gym reported assets between $0 and $50,000 in its filing. Liabilities are listed between $1 million and $10 million. The organization has around 1 to 49 creditors.
The Chapter 11 case was filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas. This filing by the Plano location was made on November 2, 2025.
Plano also serves as Cheer Athletics’ corporate headquarters and flagship gym. Founded in 1994, the organization has trained athletes competing at national and international levels. The gym relocated to its new Plano headquarters in 2022 and now trains roughly 1,500 athletes daily across its cheer and dance programs.
The Plano facility spans 70,000 to 80,000 square feet and houses both the flagship gym and corporate headquarters. The training facility serves an average of 1,500 athletes per day. Some notable features include ten standard competition cheer floors, a dance studio, and a sports performance center.
The outcome of the reorganization will play a key role in how the Plano location manages its financial recovery and future operations. The case could also influence the broader Cheer Athletics network across the country.
