Pulido’s Kitchen and Cantina Closing Hurst Location

Pedro and Dionicia Pulido founded the Pulido’s Kitchen and Cantina chain in the heart of Fort Worth in 1966. The restaurant is a neighborhood staple and is known for its time-honored recipes and welcoming atmosphere.

Pulido’s Kitchen and Cantina will close its Hurst location at 1224 Precinct Line Rd. on July 16, according to CultureMap.

In an Instagram announcement, the team wrote, “After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to close our Pulido’s Hurst location.”

Acknowledging the community and its support, the restaurant team wrote, “While our Hurst restaurant will be closing, our commitment to the local community will continue. We will honor our existing commitments to support the education system and the people who have supported us so generously.”

The team did not share any official reason for its sudden closure.

Remaining Locations Will Continue Operating

The restaurant said its remaining locations will remain open. The team encouraged customers to visit its remaining locations.

“All other Pulido’s locations remain open and ready to welcome you for the same handcrafted Tex-Mex, familiar favorites, and Pulido’s hospitality you know and love,” said the team. Remaining locations include Willow Park and Eastland in Texas.

Following the closure news, several regular customers of the restaurant expressed disappointment on social media. Some also shared heartfelt messages and cherished memories in the comments.

The closure marks the end of service at Pulido’s Hurst location, while the chain’s remaining restaurants continue operating.
