A culinary heavy hitter is preparing to make a dynamic entrance into the Dallas chicken scene. Assisted by local franchisees Kris and Ram Daswani, Chicken Guy!-the fast-casual poultry concept from Guy Fieri-is opening its first regional restaurant next month, reports Culture Map Dallas.
The chain will be making its Dallas debut in Preston Hollow Village. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the 7859 Walnut Hill Lane, #190 storefront will provide Chicken Guy! with 4,000 square feet to greet and serve guests.
The restaurant is moving into an existing, renovated space instead of a ground-up construction. The TLDR paperwork states that the location will offer both indoor and outdoor seating.
The Preston Hollow Village Chicken Guy!-the first of several the Daswanis are hoping to open in the region-will begin serving visitors in early February. The eatery will be holding a grand opening event on February 6, inviting the community to come in their best Guy Fieri cosplay for the chance to win prizes.
As the name suggests, every item on the Chicken Guy! menu prominently features the star ingredient. However, guests can choose between an array of chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, and salads. The chain offers several sauces, and guests can wash their meals down with a Flavortown milkshake.
The Daswanis are excited to bring a product and experience they believe in to Dallas, saying in a press release provided to What Now Dallas: “As fans of Guy Fieri, Robert Earl and Chicken Guy!, we think local diners will welcome the bold new flavors and high energy vibes that the brand brings to Texas and the Dallas food scene. The central Preston Hollow Village location is a popular shopping and dining destination, making it the perfect spot a to introduce the brand to a host of new Chicken Guy! Fans.”
