The end (or rather, the beginning) is in sight for a hotly anticipated DFW bar concept. Cork and Growler is nearing its Prosper debut, with ownership expecting to open later this summer, reports Community Impact.

The tavern will be bringing wine and wood-fired pizza to 201 West Frontier Parkway, Unit 10. Owner Carmelle Martinez predicts that the establishment-still under construction-will be ready for customers this August.

Cork and Growler has been building excitement in the local community since late last year. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, work began on the project on November 20 of 2024 and was-initially-set to wrap by May of this year. The completed restaurant will provide Cork and Growler with 2,400 square feet with which to greet and serve patrons.

The Prosper location will be a second chance for Cork and Growler. The concept previously operated a storefront in Frisco, which closed down on January 4 of this year.
