The steakhouse may be the most reliable staple of the restaurant scene. While there are already quite a few on the market, a Dallas original with a bold approach has plans to deepen its impact on the DFW. Dakota’s Steakhouse is preparing to play a pivotal role in the developing Southlake retail center, reports the Dallas Business Journal.
The popular restaurant will be anchoring the development, which recently received approval for rezoning from the Southlake City Council. Dakota’s is on deck to occupy 10,000 square feet of the 6 acre lot located at 1901 West Kirkwood Boulevard.
Once construction is wrapped on Dakota’s-the restaurant is projected to be completed by late 2025 or early next year-the steakhouse will be able to accommodate up to 250 hungry visitors.
Tim McEneny, the mastermind behind the development, describes his vision for the space as: “like Vegas, you’re going to go in and it’s going to be the same look all the time.”
Dakota’s Steakhouse has been delighting diners since initially opening its doors in 1984. The concept has made a name for itself through its use of superior USDA Prime steak. The menu is updated twice annually, ensuring diners variety as they return.
