One of the nation’s top fast-casual chains is preparing to bring a little extra heat to the DFW dining scene. Dave’s Hot Chicken is importing its beloved poultry to Fort Worth in 2025.
The restaurant will be serving hungry chicken enthusiasts at 3240 Tracewood Way, Suite 120. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Dave’s Hot Chicken will occupy 2,116 square feet. Work is set to begin on the $350,000 renovations on January 29, 2025 and will conclude on July 21 of next year.
The Fort Worth restaurant will be helmed by local multi-hyphenate Patrick Woodson, who owns the Woodson Law Firm, alongside Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, and Dave’s Hot Chicken shops.
Dave’s Hot Chicken first began feeding customers in Hollywood, California in 2017. The concept’s straightforward menu has attracted high profile investors, including Drake, Maria Shriver, and Samuel L. Jackson. Dave’s has succeeded by keeping it simple; the eatery only offers 2 major options-sliders or tenders. Guests can finish their meals with plain or loaded fries.
