A popular coffee brand is keeping a level focus on becoming the next big name in Dallas java. Dutch Bros Coffee, a chain that has been making a steady push into the DFW region, has submitted paperwork to open a new Fort Worth storefront.
The drive-thru cafe will be erected on North Blue Mound Road. According to the documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction on the 950 square foot storefront is set to begin on March 31, 2025, and should be concluded by July 16 of this year. While this does not provide a precise opening timeline, it does suggest Fort Worth residents could be sipping a hot cup of joe by late summer or early fall.
Dutch Bros Coffee already has a relatively formidable presence in the Lone Star State and is showing no signs of slowing its progress towards absolute Texas domination. In addition to the many stores already open and in operation, the chain has several more in the works.
While it does not have quite the degree of name recognition of Starbucks, Dutch Bros has successfully spread across the United States. The chain 987 American storefronts, with many more on the way.
