Industrial Cigar Co. in Frisco is expanding into an adjacent space, which will nearly double the size of the cigar lounge.
Industrial Cigar Co. is a family-owned lounge that opened at 9500 Dallas Pkwy., #400 in Frisco in 2017. The current lounge space will receive a facelift with new lighting, furniture, and membership experiences for guests and current members.
The expansion will include an additional 2,500 square feet of lounge space, an outdoor patio, and date-driven environments. During the expansion, the architectural and interior design will be handled by Beglee Frakes and Alejandra Frakes to appeal to female cigar smokers seeking a cozy and sophisticated lounge experience.
With the expansion will come evolved membership tiers. Although public and private memberships are available, a membership is not required to smoke in the public lounge, which is BYOB.
Access to the public lounge is free, or monthly memberships are available and include a locker. Private members have access to a private lounge with lockers and access to “The Stash” liquor cabinet. A humidor vault features a wide selection of cigars for purchase.
“We are excited to take on the challenge of growing our family’s business to the next level,” said co-owner Dave Frakes in a press release. “This is just the beginning of our growth plans.” According to a recent project filing, construction on the expansion could be complete in the fall of 2023.
