The DFW dining scene is kicking off the new year with an emphatic “g’day”. Little Ruby’s, a New York-based cafe that pairs a welcoming and relaxed Australian-inspired atmosphere with a delicious and sophisticated but approachable menu-will be opening its first Dallas location in early 2026, reports Culture Map Dallas.

Helmed by the Wish You Were Here Group, Little Ruby’s will be opening at 2305 Cedar Springs Road #150 as part of the 23Springs building. The restaurant will be making its DFW debut in a 1,790 square foot storefront with a dining room equipped to accommodate 100 guests and a bar with seating for another 8. 56 more visitors will be able to enjoy Little Ruby’s fare and atmosphere on a 950 square foot patio space.

Nick Mathers, the founder of Wish You Were Here Group, explains that the vibrant and eclectic nature of Dallas makes it a perfect fit for Little Ruby’s unique culinary experience. He states: “Dallas diners appreciate quality, authenticity, and design, and they’re embracing concepts that bring something new to the table while still feeling approachable and community-minded. We saw an opportunity to be part of a city that’s quickly becoming one of the country’s most exciting food destinations.”

Dallas foodies can look forward to enjoying a comforting and delicious menu crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Visitors will be able to select from unconventional but delectable options like the chicken schnitzel salad and ricotta hotcakes. Guests will be able to quench their thirst with a lovingly crafted java drink or craft cocktail.

The DFW won’t have to wait too much longer to sample Little Ruby’s cuisine; while a precise opening date isn’t available, the restaurant will be ready to serve guests in early 2026.

Little Ruby’s is poised to become a new Dallas staple and favorite, thanks to its own unique ethos and its commitment to honoring its new home. Mathers states: “As we grow into new markets, we honor the local character of each community while offering that sense of escape our guests seek. We see Dallas as the perfect canvas for Little Ruby’s to become both a familiar neighborhood favorite and an aspirational lifestyle destination.”
