Some hospitality debuts are destined to change the shape of not only the local dining scene, but the entire social arena. My Stomping Grounds, an upcoming restaurant and entertainment venue, promises to do precisely that for Haltom City through music and dining, and it’s coming this spring, reports Culture Map Fort Worth.

The exciting new collaboration from father-daughter duo Felix Salinas and Meagan Bartek will be bringing live entertainment and food to 5130 Northern Cross Boulevard. Paperwork recently filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that My Stomping Grounds will occupy a sprawling 20,000 square feet.

The newly erected 2 story building will feature a ground-floor bar and restaurant, complete with pool tables. Guests will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the area from a rooftop patio, while an outdoor stage will provide even more fresh-air options for up to 1,300 guests. This al fresco area will have something for every visitor, featuring fire pits, picnic tables, and a playground for the kiddos.

My Stomping Grounds will satisfy visitors’ hunger with a high-end bar food menu curated by Chef Emmanuel Choi Mier, formerly of The Woodshed Smokehouse. Future guests can look forward to a menu full of delicious pizza, burger, sandwich, and pasta options. Bartek explains that she and her team are emphasizing versatility, saying: “Our goal is to have options for everybody — from diners seeking something higher end to families coming in after their kids’ baseball games.”

Of course, entertainment is also of paramount importance. Bartek states: “It’s an idea I’ve always been passionate about. Haltom City lacked a place to see live music. You’d have to go to Dallas. That’s something we wanted to bring here: a place where locals could listen to live music, as well as offer a platform for local acts to develop their brand and grow in their creativity.”

DFW locals won’t have to wait too much longer to enjoy every thing My Stomping Grounds has to offer; Bartek and Salinas are aiming to have the venue open and operational by late March or early April.

My Stomping Grounds is destined to become a can’t-miss destination for the DFW. The website explains what’s in store: “We believe the best meals are shared, the coldest beers taste better with friends, and every night has the potential to become a story worth telling. Welcome to our stomping grounds — we’re glad you’re here.”
