A popular national chain will be bloomin’ its onions for Prosper diners next summer. Construction is underway on an Outback Steakhouse set to open at the Gates of Prosper shopping center, reports Community Impact.

Future guests will be able to check out the beloved restaurant’s fare when it opens at its 840 South Preston Road home. Outback will be part of the Gates second phase, and while a precise opening date is not currently available, Prosper residents can look forward to enjoying a steak or sipping a signature cocktail in summer of 2025.

Founded in Florida in 1988, Outback quickly amassed a fan-following thanks to its commitment to offering a fun and affordable night out. The eatery, with one foot firmly placed in the Australian countryside, focuses primarily on steaks, but is perhaps more well known for its signature appetizer, the Bloomin’ Onion.

Outback has garnered international success, with over 1,018 restaurants spread across the globe, 51 of which are in Texas.
